Yacht Wedding Packages in Abu Dhabi Explained: What Is Included
A yacht wedding package in Abu Dhabi with us includes the private boat for the hours you book, the captain and crew, fuel for the agreed route, the wedding decoration and the wedding cake. It does not include catering, photography, music or an officiant, which you bring or ask us to coordinate. There is one package structure on every boat in the fleet, so the difference between packages is the boat itself, not a list of tiers. This guide goes through each inclusion in detail, explains what the decoration and cake actually cover, lists what sits outside the package, and shows when each part is delivered in the run-up to the day.
One structure, thirteen boats
We do not sell bronze, silver and gold packages. Every boat page works the same way: an hourly rate for the boat, multiplied by the hours you choose, plus a one-off wedding package supplement that covers the decoration and the cake. The page shows the resulting package price live for your date. Choosing between packages therefore means choosing between boats, and the honest way to do that is by guest count and layout, not by what sounds most impressive. The fleet page lists all thirteen with capacities from 15 to 40.
Included: the boat, exclusively
The vessel is yours for the booked hours, from the departure time to the return. Nobody else boards. Every deck, the saloon, the washrooms and the seating are for your party. The minimum is two hours, three on Miss Kim House Boat, and you can add whole hours above that.
Included: captain, crew and fuel
A licensed captain and crew sail on every charter. They handle boarding, the safety word, service on deck, the route, holding the boat steady for the ceremony and the cake, and helping guests off at the end. Fuel for the agreed route is inside the hourly rate, so a cruise to Emirates Palace, Lulu Island, the mangroves or Saadiyat does not appear as a separate line.
Included: the wedding decoration
This is the part couples most often assume is extra, and it is not. The supplement covers a decoration scheme set by our own team before guests board. Depending on the boat and the look you choose, that typically means:
- A floral or greenery arch at the ceremony spot, secured for the water.
- An aisle runner with petals or lanterns along it where the deck allows.
- Florals and candles or lanterns on the tables and along the rails.
- Fabric draping in the saloon or under the canopy on the house boats.
- Warm string lighting over the upper deck for evening charters.
- A styled setting for the cake table.

Included: the wedding cake
The supplement also covers a wedding cake designed with you: the number of tiers is matched to your guest count, you pick the flavours and the finish, and the cake is delivered to the boat and stored so that heat and motion do not touch it before the cutting. Included: planning and the run sheet
Boat matching, the written run sheet, the route plan, vendor briefings and the day-before weather confirmation are part of how every charter is delivered. There is no separate coordination fee.
Not included: the personal services
These are yours to choose because they depend on taste, culture and budget in ways a fixed package should not decide for you:
- Catering. From canapés to a served dinner. Food arrives prepared; the galley is used for plating and cold storage.
- Photography and videography. We brief your team on decks, light and the route.
- Music. A playlist on the boat's system is free; a DJ or live musician is a separate booking, with hours and volume decided by the captain on the day.
- Officiant. The boat is the celebration venue; the formalities are your arrangement.
- Guest transport and accommodation. Your travel desk or hotel concierge can arrange a minibus to the marina.

How the package scales with the boat
Because the inclusions are the same on every boat, what changes as you move up in size is the space they fill. On a 15-guest boat the decoration dresses an aft deck and a saloon table; on a 40-guest house boat it dresses a full upper deck with an aisle, an arch and table settings for everyone. The cake grows with the head count. The crew is sized to the boat. So the question to ask is not which package is best, but which boat's deck is the right size for your wedding.

- House Boat Luxury M2, 40 guests. A glass-walled saloon and a railed open upper deck; the full-reception option for both families.
- House Boat Luxury M1, 40 guests. The same capacity with its own layout; ask us which of the two suits your ceremony plan.
- King House Boat, 30 guests. A canopied upper deck with bench seating and an air-conditioned saloon below; the best two-level layout for 25 to 30.
When each inclusion is delivered
- At booking: the boat and date are locked with the deposit.
- Six weeks out: decoration colours and style agreed.
- Four weeks out: cake tiers, flavours and design agreed.
- One week out: run sheet finalised with your vendors.
- The day before: weather and boarding time confirmed on WhatsApp.
- Ninety minutes before boarding: decoration set, cake delivered and stored.
- On the water: crew, route, ceremony, cake cutting and return.
Frequently asked questions
Can we skip the decoration or the cake and pay less?
The supplement is a single amount that covers both, so the package price is the same whether you use all of it or not. Most couples use both; if you have a family cake tradition, tell us and we plan the cutting around it.
Can we upgrade the decoration beyond the included scheme?
Yes. Tell us what you have in mind and we quote the difference in writing. Anything added must still be secured for the water, so it goes through our team.
Is the cake included on a proposal or engagement charter too?
The package structure with decoration and cake applies to the celebrations we host on the boats. Ask on WhatsApp for your specific occasion and we confirm what the page shows.
Does the package change with the marina?
No. The inclusions are the same from Yas Marina and Al Bateen Marina. Only the route and the backdrop change.
